The eat-a-thon that is Halloween to New Year’s is almost here! We are hoping and praying the darn virus numbers will be down enough to spend quality time with our family. Since many of you haven’t been able to, wouldn’t you rather spend your time catching up than toiling away in the kitchen? It’s time for easy-peasy meals and Hawaiian Chicken Sliders are it! Setting it up takes less than two minutes then you can go about your day while the Crock Pot does all the work. On a busy day, what could be better?

This same premise works well when camping. I’m a big fan of the “set it and forget it” dinner prep when we are traveling. It’s so nice to come back from a day of fun to an amazing smelling RV. When we camp with a group, we often share meals. Most times we do our own meat and share sides. Other times we rotate nights; each RV cooks for everyone one night. That way, you only have to cook once. I really like it when we do this. Every night but one, we get to sit back and relax while someone else does the work. Kinda feels like you’re in a restaurant. This is my go-to when we rotate nights. Like I said earlier, it’s a snap to put together but it is also just as easy to double for a crowd. I’ve even used two Crock Pots to feed everyone.
