Just in time for Father’s Day we are sharing our favorite must-have RV gadgets!
I’m sure you have your favorite must-have gadget in your RV. You know, the one thing you will bring out and tell your camping neighbor how invaluable it is and how happy you are to have it. We have a few of those as well!
Number 1
THE TRACKMAT. It’s so awesome it deserves all caps. It’s versatile, lightweight and indispensable. So indispensable in fact that we have a second one for the house! It’s the one item we use every single trip.

Number 2
The Gen-Turi generator exhaust system. Think of it as the best way to make friends with your neighbors while dry camping in close quarters. It’s perfect at your next RV rally, balloon fest, music festival, race, or anywhere you’re dry camping and don’t want those smelly fumes to ruin your fun time.

Number 3
The Garmin 770 GPS system. By far, this is the post I share the most. Every week someone asks about an RV GPS system across the social media platforms. We chose this Garmin over others when it was time to upgrade from our very old and outdated one. We originally looked into just upgrading the maps but holy cow, the cost was almost as much as buying a new one.

Number 4
The most amazing ladder is next on our list. At 6’5″, there isn’t much that’s out of Mark’s reach. Me, on the other hand, stand a full foot shorter so I’m always on the hunt for something to stand on. I call our folding ladder from TeleSteps the Magic Folding Ladder because it’s perfect for RV traveling. It sets up in seconds, is super sturdy and folds flat for easy storage. I’m not a fan of hanging a ladder off the RV ladder while traveling; give me something that can travel in the storage bin please.

Number 5
Last but certainly not least is our Tire Pressure Monitoring System, or TPMS for short.
Raise your hand if you like the adrenaline rush of a blowout while cruising down the interstate. Anyone? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
We’ve had our share of blowouts with our Class C and I sure hope we’ve reached our lifetime limit. But, just to be safe, we installed a TPMS system in our Phaeton when we bought it. Mark likes the piece of mind being able to glance at the screen and know exactly what the tires are doing while we are on a trip. I like knowing we aren’t going to be hanging out on the side of the road waiting for help.
