Get ready for big taste in a flash!
We had a wonderful spicy sauce on a chicken sandwich recently. The entire thing was so good we set out to replicate it at home. A key item was listed as “house spread” which can mean a lot of things. This spread had a little spice which got me thinking. It wasn’t garlicky, definitely spicy but not too spicy. I’m no chef, just a mom that cooks.
I hit the jackpot with this spicy mayonnaise. It’s good on everything! Sandwiches, burgers wraps and more. Mark even dips his french fries in it.
This is another Pinterest to the rescue recipes that comes together in a flash.
We halved the recipe and it fit perfectly in a smaller sized mason jar. It will last a month and since it’s only the two of us at home now, half size is just the right amount.
Let’s get saucing!
Measure 1/2 cup mayonnaise and put in a bowl.
Add one tablespoon of Siracha, one tablespoon lime juice and one teaspoon chili powder.
Give it a good stir and viola! Perfect spicy mayo!
