2nd Blogversary!

Today we celebrate two years of our blog!  

It’s been another year of sharing our food, fun, adventures and must have items.  I’ve also learned much this year.  Some blogs practically write themselves and others are major duds.

My list of ideas is still a page written in different ink, some crossed off and some taunting me.  Blog ideas still come in all kinds of places and I’m better about jotting down ideas and outlines in the strangest of places.  Many ideas still come while we are on a trip and Mark now knows the “hey, I can write about this look.”

I still write for FMCA, sharing recipes each month on their page FMCA Adventure.  It’s been fun to share our favorite recipes with their large audience.

We are looking forward to many exciting things in the next year.  We will celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary in a few weeks; not quite sure how that’s possible since we both are only 40.  I kid.  Our oldest son is about to finish his PhD in Meteorology soon so we’ll have a doctor in the house.  I will celebrate five years cancer remission in June, a huge milestone for any survivor.  We are knocking off a bucket list item of a trip to Alaska; I am so excited to experience it all.  Of course we have some races on the calendar, I have to just so I can eat cookies.
