We are glad you’re here. We hope you’ll find this to be a fun place to check often as we share our travel adventures, misadventures, travel tips and travel approved recipes.
We met in high school; he was the shy boy who had his best friend ask me out for him. I was the new girl to a town where all the kids grew up together. We married at 22, wow that was young, and have been married almost 29 years. Our two boys are 25 and 23 and “off the payroll.”
Mark grew up traveling, first in a 1964 Corvair Van then a 1974 Dodge Sportsman 22 footer that was named Old Yellow. His parents were adventurous to say the least, exploring Baja California south of the border until they found the perfect place to water ski. Check out that great story by clicking here.
Marrying into the family meant marrying adventure which was fine with me. Our friends have nicknamed us X-Games. Snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, white water rafting, dirt bike riding and racing, marathons and even triathlons. You name it, we want to do it.
We are excitedly into the empty nest phase of our life. Our goal is to full-time when we retire but for now we are happy taking long trips, short trips or anything in between. Heck, we’ve driven the RV 20 minutes to the footballs stadium for a proper tailgate.
We’re happy you’re here, check back often!
